Dr. Findlay is a board certified ophthalmologist and has been practicing medical and surgical Retina since 1997. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of South Florida with a degree in Chemistry before completing her medical training, internship and Ophthalmology Residency at USF and
Retina Fellowship with Retina Vitreous Associates of Florida. She is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She belongs to several professional societies including Tampa Bay Ophthalmological Society, Florida Society of Ophthalmology and American Society of Retinal Specialists.
Dr. Findlay is a Clinical Associate Professor in Ophthalmology at the University of South Florida and has supervised residents and fellows in surgical cases at James A. Haley VA Hospital for over 15 years. She continues to participate in clinical research and has given numerous patient education talks in diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration.
She has clinics in Tampa and Temple Terrace, and performs surgery at Florida Hospital in Tampa.
