In most cases, dilation, examination, imaging, and review of results with explicit follow-up actions are included in visits; where possible, same-day treatment by injections or laser is offered to decrease risk and preserve vision. We will take time to discuss your care plan with you to make sure that you understand the diagnosis and prognosis. Patients are taught home monitoring, follow-up intervals, and under what conditions to request emergency changes.
