Dr. Billiris Findlay has been practicing retina since 1997.She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of South Florida in Chemistry.She completed her medical training and Ophthalmology Residency at USF and her Retina Fellowship with Retina-Vitreous Associates of Florida. She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology.
Professional Experience
Dr. Findlay is a Clinical Associate Professor in Ophthalmology at the University of South Florida and has supervised residents and fellows in surgical cases at James A. Haley VA Hospital for over 15 years. She continues to participate in clinical research and has given numerous patient education talks in diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration. She has clinics in Tampa and Temple Terrace, and performs surgery at Florida Hospital in Tampa.
